There's some incidental music in this film, which isn't on the soundtrack. It's some psyche 60's tune about 'Things are kinda groovy now, people getting together' (or something like that)
I just tonight remembered a song from my long and distant youth in 1991 - A hip hop song with a sweet chorus.. all I remembered was that it had these very lyrics in it !
I spoke to a mate later, and spoke on this, and he mentioned this movie...I searched the web, no avail....searched imdb, by movie and low and behold............ THIS CONVERSATION !!!
Thanks for the info and cant wait to track down this original !
The scene in this movie where White Room is used is different from any version of White Room that I've ever heard. Possibly from a longer version than 4m 51sec version. Is there anything to that?
It was the actual version, only they exaggerated the build-up in the intro and added a little jam part in the middle to make way for dialogue. The latter was probably done with a session band to record for the movie.
Another Eric Clapton song was evident I think later on in the movie, a mellow Blind Faith track called "Can't find my way home".
~ I loved the music throughout the movie. Especially how it matched each scene perfectly well. Heck it me wish that I was in the 60's getting grovvy with the hippy rock & style.

Well, being an old hippie, I can tell you that it has more to do with mindset and attitude than it does when you are born! I've known some very groovy people that were way older than me, and some that were just kids. I'm pretty sure no one would mind if you got your Hippie on!!
I used to have the soundtrack to this movie but it got lost in a move. I had several others get lost but I was able to replace them but so far, I haven't been able to find this one.
