Earring
In several scenes, one can see Keifer wearing an earring. That seems more 80's to me.
shareNope. I wore/had one in '69. While it began as a '60s thing', not many guys dared to wear one other than bikers - a guy took enough crap for just having long hair. It became more widespread in the 70s and 80s no doubt - kinda like tats are today. Watch the Woodstock movie, I believe Country Joe wore one and maybe a few others (?).
Robert Plant of Zep wore one etc. Can't think of others now off the top of my head but they were worn by more than a few.
Between the longhair and the sideburns though it could be hard to see them.
When the long hair thing died out and guys were wearing the short disco era haircuts, they became very obvious and more popular/wide spread.
