Kevin and the guys were hurting Hayley's feelings when they made fun of the size of her nose. Where do they get off making fun of someone's looks? Would Kevin and the guys have laughed at Hayley if she wore glasses? Making fun of someone's looks is like making fun of someone's disability such as someone's mental retardation.

shareI'll never understand why people comment these things, kids aren't emotionally intelligent, during your childhood you've said things that have hurt others, i know i did! kids aren't mature. i don't get why people demand such amazing and deep morality from characters on tv shows, especially kids.
Kevin made fun of hayley you're right, but then at the end, when she was dancing with the cool kid at the dance, who was more popular than kevin, kevin came to realize how shallow he was, and what he'd actually missed out on.
he also made fun of margaret farquhar, he didn't want to be seen with her, at the end of the episode he admits how stupid he was, he saw how cool margaret actually was, she had the guts to be different in a world of generic people, didn't she become a marine biologist and have 5 kids?
Kevin arnold isn't real! he's a character in a really realistic show, that tells the story of a kid growing up, he makes mistakes too.
