WOTW Season 2!!

Does anyone at all know any usefull information on when WOTW Season 2 will be released on DVD? I want to know so I can buy it right away! I bought the Season 1 DVD collection on Thanksgiving. I just love it so much! I am pretty sure they didn't leave any details out. From every episode to "The Resurrection" - Box 1/2 to "The Angel of Death" Box 5/6 was totally outstanding! I for one give this 2 Thumbs up!

And for all the twits putting down the WOTW S1, don't you have anything else better to do than to discriminate an 80's series? Grow up people! Be happy and thankfull that Paramount released it on DVD! Unbelievable! Total disregard for something that you apparently don't seem a fan of! So just shut the heck up! Keep your bad comments to yourself! I taped every single episode on VHS when I was 10 and still have it as of this day. Every single solitary event in every episode that was on TV was on DVD too! So shut the heck up when you don't know what you are talking about when it comes to the actors, the storyline, plots, and whatnot. Either grow up! Or shut up!

Paramount thank you for the release of WOTW on DVD! Please release Season 2 soon!!

I hope never. WotW: The Second Invasion was the ruination of a really good series that I love a lot. Blackwood. Ironhorse. McCullough. Drake. Their names live on in a warm spot in my heart.

Kincaid. Malzor. Mana. The Eternal. They burn in a special hell which I shall forever turn a blind eye to.

Obviously, in my mind, the more successful Season 1 is, the more likely Season 2 will be released. Hopefully, whoever greenlit S1 will push for a release of the follow-up.

<---One of the few actually awaiting the quirky goodness of seeing pre-Highlander guy join the cast!

I actually think it profoundly interesting for a series to take such a drastic turn in a different direction and enjoyed it on that level. Go figure :-)

I hope it gets released for those who like the second season. I hate it, but I and others who dislike it can simply not buy it. Why does it seem so important to some to deny others what they like?

Plus if you think about it, it might lead Paramount to a) release other series on DVD (Friday the 13th anyone?) and less likely b) perhaps include extras on future releases...

<---predicts Season 2 will be out sometime next year

You're right. Although I doubt there's enough of a fan force to push Paramount until double-dipping, it's nice to as least have that as a potential hope. The show is their black sheep, and they haven't ever really backed it up, not even during its original run back in the eighties. As I've said again, I'll be interested to hear about a release because the first season was coupled with the re-release of the 1953 film, which itself was to set-up hype for Spielberg's film's DVD. Unless they've got another War of the Worlds project they've not let get out, then I can imagine that it either won't get released (their shame of the first season is one thing, but it has supporters while Season 2 was welcomed with a backlash from those, so they may not see a big enough market), or they will release it quietly by itself so as to float it under the radar. Keep in mind that Mancuso Jr. (who, as far as I know, still works with Paramount and owns him via his father) has his name branded on The Second Invasion, so it may be his call. If it doesn't get released, at least I can ponder the possibility that he actually carries shame over the turd he helped sculpt and pass off to audiences. I'd rather see him push out Friday the 13th: The Series. I don't recall ever watching that, but I've heard good things, and am willing to give it a try.
