Disc 4 of DVD set

Is anyone noticing that the picture on the fourth disc is particularly bad? I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but in my set, the episodes on disc 4 look the worst . . . the image has a lot of digital squiggles and blocks. The other discs have at least a passable image, but the episodes on this disc just seem more pixelated than the others. Anyone else?

I noticed in the second dvd everyone looked like they had bad sunburns. I agree you most of the video transfer is passable, but not the best quality. I hope the lackadazzy approach to dvd transfers that was done here is not going to be the standard we can expect.

I have noticed it also, especially in the episode "The Prodigal Son". Most of the episodes are passible (they just look very dated).

Hmmm, I just completed disc two. I didn't notice the sunburn look, but I will keep my eyese open for worse than usual quality when I get to disc four. I know the quality isn't to be admired in this set, but it certainly is better than the decrepit old worn out VHS tapes that won't even play on my Sony VCR. Those are getting chunked now that I have this DVD set. Having not watched then in many years, I just kept them around for old times sake, LOL!

Yeah, "The Prodigal Son" looks the worst. Most of the episodes are watchable, but the quality on that one is absolutely awful.

Cool screen name, by the way.

Went back to my old SVHS tapes (UK PAL conversions from 93) and the picture is very variable. Could it be that this, I believe, was about the first series made when the shot film was transfered to video tape for editing? Might be that the quality control was not up to standard?
