how did other aliens know where their HQ was at in the nevada desert ?

In various episodes , there's scenes of other aliens talking to the Advocatacy in their HQ. How did these other aliens know where their HQ was in the cave in the middle of the nevada desert. I think it was some old neclear testing place of some sort. Does anyone know how these other aliens knew where HQ was at? maybe alien ESP?

If you're referring to the first season Mor'Tax aliens- it was always implied that the aliens shared some form of communion with each other as a hive-oriented species (notice all the three person triangles they formed as a means to commune). All the aliens were probably aware of where the Advocacy were because they needed those three to function and they needed the Advocates in order to make any decision.

I agree, the aliens did in fact share a mental link of some kind with the Advocacy. Not having seen this series in sixteen years, it is the best explanation for how the alien movements were coordinated.

yes I was referring to the aliens from the first season. Thank You for the help!

Didn't they also have some sort of crude communication devices as well? I'm just asking.

Well they certainly had whatever the humans they inhabited had. But there were no cell phones and I didn't see a phone booth in the headquarters.

Actually, now that I have watched the show again, the aliens do communicate with devices they have built. The cave in Nevada is full of electronic devices, televisions, and other communication devices. I don't know exactly what the grouping thing they do is about, but I am no longer of the opinion that they are all linked mentally, at least not across great distances. I think the thing they do in groups of three is more of some kind of meditation. As for how the other aliens know where the Advocacy are, I would guess they are told by the ones who free them. It only makes sense that, since the first accidental release in the first episode, the rest of the aliens have escaped via the actions of the Advocacy and their troops.
