Sylvia Van Buren Plot Question (Hoping for Spoilers)

Hi,

I doubt I will watch this TV show anytime soon. I was hoping someone could do a summary of Sylvia Van Buren (Ann Robinsons' character) storyline.

Survives the movie, is sent insane in some uncatagorizable way by the experience and the death of her finace, is hysterical a lot, senses when
"they" are active. Not much arc there.
