Human host bodies...

After looking at the series again...it seems that the aliens don't use the humans as 'marionettes' but they are actually melding with the human body, so {if one were to see the human host opened up} they would see alien and human physiology fused...

On the other hand, I'm assuming that when an alien changes bodies{from one human to another} or attacks a victim, the hand that always grabs its victim is the third hand that unmelds itself from the front...

Too, a question:

It seems they need to have their victims exposed, as I'm assuming they can't absorb through clothes, right? {In 'Epiphany' the shirt of the police officer was opened while the alien was absorbing him}.

Alright, just watching 'The Raising of Lazurus' it seems that aliens can possibly go through clothes, and in a couple of seconds...as a lone alien took over the narrow-minded Colonel Alexander very quickly...

Even in 'The Second Seal' the cute sergeant was taken over in a matter of seconds in an elevator....

I always did wonder about that. Presumably the makers hoped by only applying and not showing the process that audiences wouldn't ask awkward questions like that. The aliens were pretty big, so unless they could somehow pass by clothing without ruining it, they would have to go through the face and neck. Which, other than being pretty icky, would have to be a near-instanteous process and we've already seen incidents where an important character was about to be possessed but was rescued, usually by Ironhorse, just in time. Oh, whatever. Good series, anyway.

Yeah, I guess it's something that makes the aliens even more mysterious...

And, yes, it definitely was a very good show that ended on a very high note with so many possibilities...{Quinn, the alien woman from Q'uarto, the Mortax-ian aliens}...

Whoa!

I think a film or something will revisit Suzanne, Harrison, Norton, and Paul to see how WOTW ended...

I always loved how they took over the human bodies. That was cool. I bet now they would use CGI effects compared to the late 80's effects.
