Campaign for a 3rd Season?

I know that many who are fans of the 1st season wanted a better resolution. (And some have even created a 3rd season with the Blackwood team).

With shows like 'Battlestar Galactica' taking sci-fi to another level, it would be cool to look deeper into the aliens lifestyle...

Quinn could be brought back, of course...(having taken another host, since his died--to coincide with the late, great John Colicos).

Maybe there are alien factions that have grown to like their hosts as well, and break away from the advocacy...and those either like, or still dislike humans and plan on making their own life on Earth in some way.

Still, it would be cool to see Jared Martin back, as well as Lynda Mason Green, Richard Chavez, Philip Akin...and a grown up Rachel Blanchard.

It would be interesting to find that woman kidnapped by the aliens in the first season, and probably find out that she is a host who may be a sort of bad character/good character...

The second season could be a possibility of what could happen if the Blackwood team fails....

it's a nice idea for a new updated season. what about having a older Debi in it was well? she's now a cop on the TV series "7th Heaven".

They should reboot the show and start from scratch, keep all the good elements of Season 1, which were:

Alien resurrection from toxic waste barrels,
dark humor,
social commentary,
quirky team of scientists,
govt agency in the know,
the synths,
the advocacy,
the alien design,
the aliens being stranded on earth, having to adapt our technology to suit their needs, radiation, and the colonists on their way. etc etc etc...

here's what they would need to do,
work with the time gap from 1953 to present day, actually explain the amnesia (tie it in to the synths, it's in their best interest for the humans to ignore the possibility of an outside alien threat, maybe even make it so that the synths actually helped rebuild the earth without the humans even knowing it,then wiping everybody's memory).

i wish they could bring back the original actors, but that's just not realistic. So they would need to assemble a new set of actors who were just as good or better. That's where the show could fail.

The story would also have to be tighter, with shows like Lost, new standards have been set. So a WOTW reboot would need to have a more fine tuned storyline with an ending.

Just my 2 cents, anybody have Greg Strangis' number? I'd be happy to give him a call and pitch some of my ideas!

I remember watching this 20 years ago and liked the show! It should have stayed on longer than what it did. I feel. Plus, it ruined as well Friday The 13th The Series because it went off with this show around the same time.

I would love that.I own the 1st season on dvd and watch it regularly.Cant get enough of watching it.Would like to purchase the 2nd season.Even though it wasnt as good as the 1st..still,its part of it.Hope it comes out on dvd soon.why do producers take off great shows??just to put on stupid ones..plus I would love to see the orginal cast in it..like a continuation of these first 2 season..like 20yrs later :>)..anyone with me on this???..I would love to vote on it if anyone 'out there' has connections :>)

I would love a 3rd season !. The main actors from the original series are still alive and working. What about a 20year reunion TV movie ? Could be a lead in to a present day 3rd season.

Do any of the networks ever read this message board ?
