I think if Norton's character was built on, if there was a season 2 or 3 with our Blackwood Team, the alien Quinn...or some sort of alien concoction would have had Norton walking again.

Quinn could have used some sort of method to entice Norton to work with him, and helping him to walk might have been one of those methods.

That would ruin the whole "before its time" politically correct idea of having a person with a disability in a powerful role in a TV show...

Seriously the whole point of Norton was that even though he couldn't walk he was an integral part of the Blackwood Project.
