shareYou call that closure? It makes no sense because it contradicts basically everything established throughout the series - both first and second season. Hell, in some respect, it actually raises some questions that I think would have been interesting to explore such as how (or if) the Morthrai would have integrated themselves into human culture. I'd prefer a cliffhanger where everything would have been left open to imagine rather some cheap-ass, happy-smiled ending they extracted out their asses for a show that began with so much potential.

A cliffhanger that would've never been resolved mind you. I'm glad that the second season at least provided some sort of ending, bad or not. Look at how many series (especially in the sci-fi realm) get axed before their prime. None of those shows are worth watching because nothing is ever resolved. What's the point of investing time in, let's say Twin Peaks, where the show doesn't exhibit any hint of a denouement? The rug was totally pulled out from under it. That said, I still prefer season 1 over the second season for many of the reasons most fans have stated, in particularly the blatant disregard of continuity in season 2.
