Handy tip: don't keep dead aliens in barrels.

Heh heh. Watching the DVDs for the first time. It doesn't ruin my enjoyment of the show at all, but it kinda strikes me as silly if I think about it too long that governments decided to put thousands of dead aliens in identical barrels all over the world, instead of destroying them. I can understand keeping a few around for scientific study, but putting them at the bottom of a lake?

Then again, our governments make incredibly stupid decisions all the time, so I suppose it isn't that implausible.

Another silly quibble: seems like the aliens are able to take over people in an incredibly bloody and gruesome process, yet their clothes are intact without blood or ripping afterwards! Noticed this with the head of the military base who was taken over while wearing his fancy white dress uniform!

Final note: I'm really enjoying the action on this show... Surprisingly gritty stuff, especially with Ironhorse -- cleaving people's skulls with tomahawks and taking out entire squads of alien soldiers with an M-16.

Every tv-show has it`s mistake. Yeah Ironhorse was good.

I think some of the goofy things like that add to the charm of the show.

Those dillholes never learned their lesson after the zombie they stored in a barrel got out in "Return of the Living Dead?.

Cool if they had a twist that they were going to destroy the alien remains but something happened that lead to them being placed in barrels.
