Line come from this show?

Hello.

I remember watching short bits of a show on TV in the San Francisco bay area around 1988-89. I never watched an entire episode, so I am very vague on what the name of the show was.

One thing I remember, though, is that the aliens had a slogan something like "Onward to eternal life!" Was that this show?

I think it's possible it was actually Dr. Who around that time, except that it would be strange for that to be on local San Francisco TV. Or would it?

If anyone can help me with this, it will be appreciated. "Onward to eternal life!" may not be exactly right. But I believe "eternal life" was part of it.
