You Want to Know What [Whom] Really Killed the "Superboy" Series?

To all the fans of the show, if you still don't know the [true] story or facts behind the final fate of the "Superboy" series ... I recommend you check this site out:

http://www.superboyhomepage.com/mainpage.htm

Search and click on "The Death of Superboy" or "Who Killled Superboy?"

The article it's a little bit long [3-pgs], but highly worth reading

PS. If you are curious as to whom killed the comic book-incarnation of the pre-crisis 'Superboy,' he was killed by the Time-Trapper [a villain from the 30th Century] while protecting the "Legion of Superheroes;" and was buried in the 30th Century.

also http://www.superboyhomepage.com/home.htm will work instead of the other link, but I could not find the referenced story on that site.

Did you even see Superboy?

Smallville is horrible compared to it...

The writing is so cheesey, and don't you think that when Clark actually becomes Superboy/Superman that Lex or Lana or anyone in Smallville would know who he really is? With all the weird crap that goes on there all they would have to do is put two and two together.

Just a short reply to the "Wouldn't they know who he really is?" question.

If you've ever seen ANY of the Superman stories, including the movies, you would realize that everyone should know that Clark Kent is Superman. I mean really... in the movies he takes off his glasses and changes the part in his hair and Lois says, "You know Clark, you almost had the near perfect disguise..." or something along those lines. We should simply take for granted the fact that people will not figure it out and enjoy it.

So to all those that want to argue which is better, Superboy or Smallville, I say, "Enjoy them both." The Superman legend is one that can have many interpretations and I think they've done an incredible job with Smallville and probably did an incredible job in the past with "Superboy," although I never saw it.

It seems I answered my own question about you seeing an episode of Superboy... In another thread you wrote how you hadn't and how you thought Smallville was the best interpretation of Superman ever...

I'm sorry to hear that, I watch Smallville and I'll admit it does have it's moments and it does have some good episodes. But there are so many things that add up to Clark being Superman, and for as smart as Lex and Lionel are you would think that they would figure out Clark is Superman so unless season five of Smallville has some huge turning point in which their memories get erased then the show is kind of a joke because his true identity is pretty obvious.

Great post raul, but it was "Pocket Universe Superboy" who was killed by the Time-Trapper.
