shareThe first season's only real merits were it's three leads. Although once the series hit its stride season one had a few highlight episodes. I was just sorry to see John Haymes Newton not playing Superboy/Clark for the rest of the series run.
Here goes my faves for season one

I've only seen 'Luthor Unleashed' and it was pretty good, even though Scott Wells (Lex Luthor in Season one) was a pathetic actor. I also thought it was a bit silly that Lex went insane after losing his hair. That's a bit extreme. It isn't even exactly what happened in the Silver Age comics, so you can't use that as an excuse. In the comics, Superboy also destroyed Lex's artificial life serum (that Lex had spent his life working on) accidentally while trying to save Lex. The hair thing was just a nail in the coffin. That's a much better reason to go insane.

Meet Mr. Mxyzptlk. he's one of my favorite villains and it was cool seeing him in the flesh.
