what would happen if john haymes newton had stayed on the superboy set ?

in my opinion if John haymes newton had stayed on the superboy set there would have had a season 5 & 6 maybe the death of superboy movie on top of it & Gerard Christopher would have gotten the part as superman/clark kent in Lois & Clark the new adventures of superman & it would also have had a season 5&6 as well maybe the tim burton superman movie would have had Gerard in stead of nick cage

I still wonder what kind of a train wreck that Burton/Cage Superman would have been. Couldn't have been worse than Returns, though.

Gerard Christopher tried out for the tim burton superman movie but the part went to nick cage lol it was never maid haha with nick cage in it anyways

Johns' Clark Kent was really a great departure from Christopher Reeve's version much more cool and a hell of a lot less nerd. His Superboy was good but could've been a little less wooden. And don't get me started on his flying.
If he had stayed on the directors and the Salkinds' would have probably made him act more like Reeve's Superman which is what they eventually did with Gerard in the role.
