Is this worth getting on DVD?

I'm trying to get over my Smallville withdrawl, waiting for the next season. Would Superboy be a good show to help fill the void until then?

I think so.

It's very different from 'Smallville', in most respects, although I find it interesting how basic plot lines are constantly recycled.

Pretty good FX for the day, Clark --er, Superboy actually flies in costume! Wow, what a concept.

Yes, it was worth the money.

dont get this if you are expecting something along the lines of smallville. these are 2 totally different looks at the show. superboy is kinda campy which is what makes it so great. when this first came out in 88 i was glued to this show every saturday. i always liked the first season more than the later ones. if you would like to see something totally different than get it. you can see some of them on AOLTV before you buy. if you do buy it - for sure listen to the commentaries as they are very funny. my favorite episode is meet mr. mxyzptlk....classic

BY SARAH CONNORS ON APRIL 28 2010 ,I ALSO ,HAVE SEEN ALL THE EPISODES OF SEASON 1 I ENJOYED THEM SO MUCH THAT I WATCH THEM OVER AND OVER.BUT I WILL NOT BOTHER GETTING ANY OF THE OTHER EPISODES I DO NOT THINK I WOULD LIKE A DIFFERENT ''SUPERBOY''JOHN HAYMES NEWTON WAS JUST GREAT.
