I would've LOVED to have seen an episode where they go Black Friday shopping. And I don't mean like now where Black Friday is like a two week event. I mean old school Black Friday - doors open at midnight - and people get trampled and fist fight over toasters. I think that would've been hilarious. Can you imagine Roseanne fighting Kathy Bowman over a microwave?

I agree with ilovejames that Kathy wouldn't go for it, but I could see Roseanne having to work, then running out constantly on breaks to take advantage of the sales. Leon would be chasing her all over the mall while Bonnie would be covering the slack.
I could also picture her duking it out with Madge (or whatever Dan's fantasy hardware store girl's name was) either over a microwave or something on sale in limited quantity at the store where she works. Like Roseanne pitching a fit when Madge tells her they're all sold out of a cut rate price snow blower. Maybe both those scenes would even work.
A Black Friday episode set when Roseanne was working at Rodbell's would've been perfect. Say she gives the whole family each a list of things to buy, and Darlene keeps harping on the consumerist culture of today and blahblah blah. I can see a really great opportunity of having DJ faking an injury in order to score the last of something. Maybe Roseanne fakes tripping to spill coffee on someone, and in the chaos as they're cleaning up, she looks through their bags (or would that be going to far for her character?)
