I just love this season so much! It was the perfect balance of drama and comedy.

You had:
*several scenes with Rosie and her girlfriends having nights out which was fun.

* The Mark drama intensified ie: birth control.

*Roseanne's overall demeanor was perfect and my personal favorite.

*The whole feel was just very calm before the storm.

When this season ends I always feel a bit sad lol because I know season 5 (Which is terrific) is full of drama and then season 6 in all its mean spirited glory comes to stay.

I agree, this is my favorite season because it stays true to the original premise- a blue collar working class mother of three who struggles to balance her work, husband and children.

After this season Becky and then Darlene left the nest and Roseanne started the diner.

This season also went into some dark places such as the truth about Roseanne's father coming out and Darlene's depression.

Roseanne was gruff but funny and not yet mean spirited as she as became later.

I also liked David in this season, before he was turned into a wuss.

Season 3 and 4 are my favorites out of the whole series! :)

In a way if Roseanne had been canceled here I would've been satisfied and felt she said what she needed too
