The greatest sitcom of all time [spoilers]
SPOILERS.
The white trash depiction was perfect, but the show went downhill when they won the lottery, in reality there's no way anyone would still live in that house if they'd have won the lottery, and with the season finale they tried to be clever, the show was fine how it was, but the explained finale of Roseanne having a breakdown after the loss of Dan and the boyfriends of Darlene and Becky not really being true ruined the entire show.
The dialogue and situations pre-lottery-win were fantastic, the show tackled deep subjects at times example racism (the episode where DJ didn't want to kiss a black girl in a school play, episode titled "white men can't kiss" or something like that, was interesting and controversial) and tons of other sensitive subjects were acknowledged, it was good that the show didn't shy away from that.
