I used to wonder why Becky, Mark, David and Darlene never hung out together too much with both couples going places. But somebody said that was because they were so different so it would have given them few things to really enjoy together.

I don't think the words 'Double Dating', 'Mark', 'Becky', and 'Darlene' can go together.

Mark and David did not get along while Becky and Darlene did not get along. Question answered.
