If the show had stayed on and Becky had been pregnant finally would they have probably done simlar themes as to when Darlene was pregnant or what could some of the storylines have consisted of? Like maybe they could show Becky go into labor at her trailer.
shareWell it would've been really lame if Becky's pregnancy went the same as Darlene's. They probably would've had some storylines with Becky worrying about raising a baby in a trailer park, and maybe Mark being concerned about raising a baby when he's not the smartest guy - like what if the kid needs help with its math homework of Mark forgets and leaves the kid somewhere. There'd be one episode where one of them decides to leave college to focus more on earning money to take care of the baby (I can't remember if both of them were attending college at the end, or just Becky, or if Mark still was going to get a business degree or whatever) but Roseanne and Dan don't want them to do that because they'll never go back to college if they quit now.
The big question was if there had been a season 10, which "reality" would the show have gone with? I expect if there was a season 10, we wouldn't have gotten the reveal that the whole thing was a book, so there would be no issue where in the "real" timeline, Becky was with David, so she's pregnant with David's baby at the end, which would change some storyline potential.
I would hope in this hypothetical 10th season, there wouldn't be a huge focus on Becky's pregnancy. Season 6 had Jackie's pregnancy and baby take up most of the episodes, season 7 and part of 8 had Roseanne's pregnancy, then season 8 and most of season 9 had Darlene's pregnancy and the issue with the baby, so another season focusing so much on ANOTHER pregnancy would be irritating. I would hope it would go something between Darlene's pregnancy, where it was brought up but not much of a focus until she went into labor, and Crystal's two pregnancies, where it was brought up but she wasn't there on the show a lot so it didn't feel like it was dominating the show.
Honestly, I feel a Becky pregnant storyline would have gone better if there was no Harris or Jerry. I mean if it had gone for another season there would be four children under five. Andy, Jerry, Harris, and Mark Jr (Because Becky Jr is Butterstock Jellybeans ;) ). I'm glad, despite liking her, we didn't get a Becky pregnancy. It would have made her seem more like a loser.
