I've never quite understood this. I've never known anyone (once potty trained) who farted uncontrollably before, even if nervous. I've known cases, like everyone, when you try to do it quirky [EDIT: quietly] and its anything but. It's still hard for me to imagine Becky choosing that moment to let one loose like that.

I liked the way the guy she had a date showed up...it wasn't like he cared she farted anyway..he wanted a piece of that Becky action..no fart would stop that..Becky was a sweet piece of work...mmmm

This is the strangest thread. Obviously she didn't do it on purpose.
Yes most of time most people can control if they pass gas or not but that's not 100% true for every person, 100% of the time.
The fact that some people needed more of an explanation in the episode, or find it to be unbelievable, is halarious.

I think she may have had to go the bathroom, like she was waiting until after her presentation or after she got home to go. And it just slipped out.

Maybe she had been trying to control it for a long time at that point, and no longer could. Have you ever held in a fart for a couple of hours? You get indigestion after awhile.

I wish that they actually showed the scene of Becky farting. Would have been funny.
