they whole family was asleep for 22 years, clearly spot wasnt asleep, so how come he didnt die, being alone for such a long time???

another thing, in the original munsters show, there was an episode when lily and herman celebrated their 100th wedding anniversary, then 22 years later in this show, lily and herman talk about being married for 300 years????

i recently got this entire series on dvd, and have spotted a tonne of these mistakes while watching through the episodes.
i am thoroughly enjoying the show, but the makers didnt put as much thought into it as they should have....

Different minds think differently. It wasn't the same producers or anyone from the original series working closely with them.

Even the inside of The Munsters home was the opposite. In the original series, the front entrance is on the right of the staircase where Spot lives underneath and the left side of the staircase lead to the kitchen area. In Munsters Today, it was the inside of their home was the complete opposite. The front entrance was on the left, etc. So did someone come reconstruct their home while they were asleep all those years? lol Lily (Merriwether) did say when she looked around that things looked different.

Also, they apparently slept through "The Munsters' Revenge".
