a mind-blowing theory
Want to hear a theory?
There are two SOLs and two Pearl Forresters. Oh yeah. At the beginning of 901: The Projected Man, when the SOL comes out of the wormhole, Gypsy reports that they have arrived at the same time that they left. That means that while their SOL is just ending their journey through time and space, there's another SOL that has just begun theirs, adrift on its journey to the end of the universe, and while one SOL crew is mocking The Projected Man, the other has settled in to riff Laserblast, the swan song of the Comedy Central years. Yes, you heard me. Episode 706 and 901 are happening simultaneously and parallel to one another, with each version of the SOL crew unaware of the existence of the other.
Meanwhile in Deep 13 while this is going on, it's likely Dr. F would have been too busy packing up his things to notice the return of the Satellite of Love.
But that's not all. As Pearl is settling into her ancestral home of Castle Forrester, her past self remains in Deep 13 waiting for Clayton to turn into a star baby so she can forget to raise him right. This only lasts until The Projected Man/Laserblast ends, then Past Pearl moves out with Baby Clayton and presumably settles into the suburbs to embark on the events that will lead her to killing him and having herself cryogenically frozen for 500 years, in effect creating a time loop as Future Pearl plots to take over the world and continues to send Mike and the Bots bad movies.
Then again, it's just a show. I should probably just relax.
