First 2 KTMA Episodes Available!

For those that contributed a certain amount to Kickstarter, Joel finally unveiled the lost episodes. The picture quality is really good for as old as these are.

So the only "lost episode" still lost is episode three?

Joel said he is still looking for it. Apparently they DO have the master tapes for all the rest of them too so the hope is they release those in upcoming Shout Factory boxsets.

Really doubt they will ever be released for sale, too many rights issues since none of them were payed for at the time.

According to Jordan Fields (who acquires rights for the episodes for Shout), the fact that the rights weren't obtained for KTMA doesn't prevent them from releasing them at all. He said the only thing holding up their release is the reluctance of Joel, Kevin and Trace to have these seen.

Considering how many KTMA episodes were redone for Comedy Central (and have themselves been released on DVD), it'd be strange if rights to those films was the sticking point.
