Are They Going To Release The Reunion Show On DVD/Blu-ray/Streaming?
Anyone know?
shareChances are pretty good they will
At the very least the rights shouldn't be a problem like with some live shows.
...Unless "Stamp Day for Superman" is a problem...
I know they couldn't get the rights to release The Room Live show, but were there any other of the live shows that they couldn't release after?
shareNot sure of the date, but they were planning to re-broadcast it again for anyone who missed out on the first showing.
I'd imagine it will be on a disc at some point. Shout Factory handles the distribution of the show, and probably will handle the new episodes, so I believe they'll bring it to homes soon enough. Shout Factory is one of the very few companies who actually make releases that fans will enjoy.
Went thru the Kickstarter info: yes, they intend to release the live show. Whether it will be on DVD or as a download, I'm not sure.
Either way, while Shout Factory does handle the MST3K stuff, the show will be released by Rifftrax, as have all the other live shows which they have released. I'm sure that Satellite News [ http://www.mst3kinfo.com/] will announce the release, but you can also check Rifftrax periodically for news.
