I appreciate the heads up, and Lord knows I'll try to have fun.
Still-- I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but Comet has made it hard for me to get happy about this marathon.
It may not be Comet's fault that a relatively few MST3K episodes are available to them.
But their decision to run what they've got as Sunday double-features was overkill. I haven't kept track, but even as an MST3K fan I'm tired of watching the same small handful of episodes over and over and over.
When a network only has a small number of episodes available, it just seems like common sense to spread them out. If they'd only scheduled one episode per week, it would double the time frame between repeats.
Sorry to express frustration, but Comet's poor programming choices have painful, persistent side-effects that diminish my MST3K viewing performance and pleasure.
I know-- it's just crappy TV network programming, I should really just relax. 😉
