Was the original much better than the reboot!

I watched the first two episode and I did not find it funny at all... I was just a little kid when the original was on so I never really watched it but watching the reboot certainly does not make me want to catch up. The humor was awfully forced. For the ones who watched the original show. Was it much better ? I mean all the jokes fell flat and there were moments that just felt too stupid like that now infamous Hillary bit. This show was like attending a democrat party with all the jokes was about Republican and Trump, it was boring because of it. I would be surprise if this show last long.

The original was much better. I had watched when I was a kid. I am a liberal democrat BTW. And yes liberals (JFK jr) guest stared as her "secretary"

But it was clever writing. It was not yes we're desperate for you to watch. we're desperate for ratings.

Murphy cracked a couple of jokes @ JFK jr's expense when he came on.

Yeah I'm not a republican either but I am tiered of easy jokes against republican, if they gonna make political jokes they really need to be smarter than what I have seen so far. Sad thing is watching that new show does not make me want to check the original at all. I'll even going to say these two first episodes were probably the lamest half hour I have seen in a very long time, it just felt so desperate. I feel sad saying that because I like the main actress.

not really, it was just trendy and part of a zeitgeist, but meaningless now. Kinda like how Seinfeld is getting now.
