Staple of my youth

I remember huddling up in front of the tv as a teenager and watching the show with my best friends. Like Growing Pains it was one of the (very) few television shows that young audiences could relate to. I'm 27 years old now, and running into this imdb was like a blast from the past... I was thinking about their Virgin Islands trip, how hysterical that was.

Most certainly it was a well put together situation comedy, quite unlike any of the recent fodder on television today with the exception of Will & Grace. Television used to be so fun and spirited.. now we have CSI Miami, CSV: Crime Scene Investigators, The West Wing, Commander In Chief, The Closure, reality shows up the nose, and any comedy is usually so entirely far fetched and void of any substance that it's virtually unwatchable.

Anymore I stick to TV Land...
