Warner Bros and You Tube

I don't get it. Warner Bros. will demand that You Tube take down any of their shows, but the ones that aren't on DVD they refuse to release. That doesn't make sense.

I just went to check an episode out and it said it was no longer available because Warner Bros. had them take it down. That is so LAME!

If they don't want people uploading their videos like that then put it out on DVD so it's available to everyone! Why do you think people upload their old tv rips to places like You Tube? Because it's not available in the store! Release it so that way everyone has an opportunity to buy an official DVD release of it. If they just give it a chance I'm sure they'll be surprised at the sales this DVD would have. If you think this show is too political look at the crap that is on TV now. TV is much worse nowadays. I'll never understand why they'd rather keep this wonderful show as far away from the fans as they can. It's not on the air anymore. Why not just release it on DVD and be done with it. Does anybody in charge of DVD sales even read these boards? God, get the frickin' hint. WE WANT THIS SHOW ON DVD! What else do we have to do to get through to you people?

Sorry for the rant, but really. I'm sure tons of people would buy the DVD if given the chance. Let us prove it to you. Release that DVD of our beloved Lubbock Babes and let us relive those wonderful moments.

I guess they'd much rather have us give $99 of our hard earned cash to this bootlegging a$$hole. Even the cover sucks. Use some real photos of the cast.

This guy is even selling a show that's almost completely on dvd!

Bewitched seasons 1-8. No doubt these are ripped from Nick at Nite and TV Land. Unless he's ripping the first four seasons from the US dvds and then ripping the rest 5-8 from the Japanese dvds. Either way, isn't it illegal for this guy to be selling this stuff? I don't get how this a$$hole gets away with it, but we can't put up free, mostly bad quality episodes on You Tube? It doesn't make sense! How is this guy still up and running while videos are being taken down from You Tube all the time? I am so sick of these corporate jerks. They sit up there high and mighty thinking their better than everyone else. They tell us to take our videos down claiming copyright infringement when some jacka$$ like this guy keeps on selling his crappy bootlegged dvds. Stop worrying about the people putting these videos up on You Tube. Go after jerks like this guy. He's really the one who's ripping you morons off. People who put long lost shows like Just the Ten of Us up on You Tube are merely trying to bring the memory back. They're trying to get more people in. Most Nightmare On Elm Street fans have been looking all over for this show because of Heather Langenkamp and Brooke Theiss! I bet over half of the sales would go to the Nightmare On Elm Street fans just for that reason. Do these people realize how many "Nightmare" fans loved this show? Do they even know how many "Nightmare" fans there are? Sales would go through the roof if they'd let'em. No, they'd rather sit up there on their pedestals smoking their cigars and telling You Tube what videos to take down.

Wow, I can't believe this guy is ripping people off like that.

Great points endsandmeans, I could not have said it better myself. I guess Warner Bros. perfers bootleggers to rip off people instead of putting old mostly poor quality episodes of this show on a video steam site.

That's what I don't get. How is it okay for him to do that, but letting us download TV rips (which is obviously what he's selling of JTTOU on his dvds) is wrong. Why don't they put their energy into trying to harass some jerk like that? And of course release a real DVD so that guy can't make profit off their show anymore. At least, people sharing the episodes aren't gaining profit from it. The only thing their gaining is the satisfaction of knowing that they helped someone become reunited with some familiar memories.

Here's a list of people dating back to 2000 to present trying to find copies of the show. Some of them are so desperate to find copies that they'll pay for the episodes. And thanks to the WB for not putting it out on DVD they're making that jerk at tvaddicts the more richer. If it really was an issue about money they would've stopped that guy and put the show out themselves. Maybe they just really hate one of their own shows. I don't know how. It's still better than the crap you see on the CW nowadays.
