I grew up in Eureka,CA and...

I remember watching the "Growing Pains" episode when this show was spun off. I was only 10 years old and I thought it was so cool that this new show was taking place in Eureka, which is where I lived. I really thought that they were going to be filming it in Eureka. Imagine my surprise when I didn't recognize anything from Eureka in the show. Plus it rains all the time in Eureka and the average temperature is about 50 degrees. Not ideal weather for wearing shorts or getting a tan as I remember most of the daughters doing.
I still loved this show despite it not actually being filmed in Eureka. I hope they release it on DVD in the future.
