Does anybody know of another Freddy movie? Before A nightmare on Elm Street?
I don't know what it's called but they aren't:

A Nightmare on Elm Street
A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's revenge
A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream warriors
A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: Dream Master
A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: Dream child
Freddy's dead: The final nightmare
Wes Craven's new nightmare
Freddy vs Jason
Any of the Freddy series

My mate says that it's about how Freddy dies and it shows that he used to work as a janitor! It also brings flashbacks of when he was a boy getting bullied and tormented.

Any help will do, thank you very much!

those are the only Freddy movies.
All that's left besides that is the series.
There are actually flashbacks of the human Freddy in a few of the movies.

it's about how Freddy dies=No More Mr. Nice Guy, the pilot episode of Freddy's Nightmares + Freddy's Dead

flashbacks of when he was a boy getting bullied and tormented.=Freddy's Dead + maybe the comics.

There were 3 comic series: A Nightmare on Elm Street, A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Beginning, Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare

There are only 8 Nightmare films (including FvsJ), the show, the comics, and, if you must, the video game.

I'm not sure, but I think the episodes "No More Mr. Nice Guy" and "Killer Instinct" were at point cobbled together and released as a feature.

What do you mean when you say "released as a feature"? Certainly you aren't suggesting that they were released as one film rather than 2 episodes? And definitely not theatrically.

I know "No More Mr. Nice Guy" was released on video (I own it), and in the UK, indeed, there was a Freddy's Nightmare VHS with those two episodes on it

but I doubt it was released as a feature. Especially since that would make no sense, as "Sister's Keeper" was the sequel to No More Mr. Nice Guy."

actually,
its been said that another freddy movie is in progress.
they are in the basic works.
they might be makin a nother freddy Vs. movie or a solo one jus for freddy. if hey make a solo movie. it will be about freddy as a child. and how it all started OR it will be about a new married couple buys a house on elm street
YES ITS THE HOUSE...and well u kno..freddys goona get em.
but yea..so look out for another one possibly halloween of 2009 or 2010

Freddy never worked as a janitor. This is some strange rumour that circulated from badly written magazine articles way back when, and even led to Wes Crave doing a send-up of it in Scream. Even the current crap Elm St. comics from Wildstorm had it wrongly mentioned that he worked at the high school.
