Other war show on around the same time?

I seem to remember there being another tv show about war that was on around the same time as China Beach. I was really young, so I'm not quite sure. I know I liked it more than China Beach. Does anyone know what it was? Thanks.

I did some more searching and I think it was "Tour of Duty"

Yes,the other show was Tour Of Duty

Tour of Duty from CBS which lasted one or two seasons. It was an inferior show. I watched both though.

Tour of Duty also started in 1988 played for 3 seasons 52 episodes, China Beach played for 4 seasons 62 episodes. Both were good, but TOD was more like Combat and China Beach more like MASH.
