I also remember another profound episode with McMurphy sitting vigil with a badly wounded soldier who was wearing "pressure" type bags to keep him from bleeding to death. But it wouldn't last and McMurphy knew it. It showed the night she sat with him and the time they had to let him go. Very poignant. This series did a good job of showing the carnage of war, and the humanity that still existed. Wonderful series and superbly acted, written, directed and photographed. I ordered the series this week and should get it mid April. Can't wait. I'm glad more people can see this series which was so respectful and caring about the soldiers stories. And the people who were there for them. Wonderful, spread the word.
