Favorite China Beach Montage???
Wow, there were so many great sequences of flashbacks & tributes on this series scored to great songs and the truly unforgettable theme music (Laurette's long goodbye in CHAO ONG, Cherry's tragic demise in TET'68...by far the series' best episode!) BUT I'm going with the gut-wrenching, heartbreaking final scenes of TWILIGHT as the fallout from Boonie's tragic soldier past, as revealed reluctantly by Wayloo takes its toll on the entire cast of characters (McMurphy, K.C., Dodger, Sweetness, Frankie, etc.) while the great Nancy Giles belts out "America The Beautiful"! DEVASTATING! It really felt like the end of the war, or the world!
