Another seed that led to crappy kids today

I remember this movie and liked it as a kid, now being 30, it's different.

The movie comes from this whole sarcastic outlook on lesson learning activities like this. Nature sucks, dealing with adversity and being responsible (the bridge stuff) draws anger and resentment, lying is okay in the face of being taught life lessons, and in the end, the sarcastic whiney kid is "right".

I'm not at all impressed with the "morality play" that this was supposed to be. It rationalizes being a quitter and not attempting anything because it's all "stupid".

Just another seed planted in my brain to make me hate hard work, ethics, responsibility, facing challenges etc. etc.
