The music is so bad.

I know most 80's music was pretty crappy. But, it's easily the most dated thing about this movie. It almost ruins it completely it's so terrible. Other than the music. This is a pretty great film. I remember seeing it when I was just a little kid and being afraid of getting stuck going camping with some stranger. This movie is the reason why I never joined the boy scouts.

I don't know, I love the music.

I thought the music was the best part of the film, Steve Perry, Bruce Hornsby, The Cult, Cutting Crew. "life in a dangerous time" I love that song, which they play when he is left alone on the island. And, I don't agree that most 80's music was crap. I use to work at a club, 80's night was easily our most popular night, it was packed.

Too bad no one seems to know where to find that "Kaylee Adams - Paradise" track.

No offense but you couldn't be more wrong. It's not generic 80's style music it's actually well known classic bands. And "life in a dangerous time" is such a cool song!

The music was great! I remember looking for the soundtrack. I'm surprised the movie never came out with one.

I'm a child of the 90s and I thought the 80s music in this film was awesome! Many of the songs fit perfectly with the scenes. Especially Life In a Dangerous Time by Cutting Crew when Alan was left alone on the island. I felt really sorry for him in that moment.
