Scene that always gets me

Is when Bud comes to the hospital to see Martin Sheen. It's basically a monologue. Bud tells Dad he's the "only honest man I know" and Martin Sheen says nothing, but turns his head w/ a tear streaming down his face. Great acting. Especially by the elder Sheen.

they lived that scene in real life when Martin had the heart attack years earlier while filming "Apocalypse Now" so the emotion was real.

I have to skip that scene. Reminds me too much of visiting my father in the hospital when he was dying of emphysema. I, too, used to pull cigarettes out of his mouth before before he could light them and toss them away. Didn't do much good.

"May I bone your kipper, Mademoiselle?"
