Well, maybe she had regrets, and reconnected with whatshisname (Charlie Sheen).
Her character wasn't dishonest, she just wanted a good life for herself. Many people do.
(I hope at least one thing she did in her future was change her name...)

There is nothing wrong with wanting a good life, but there is a level that does not say much for the person. The moment the money was gone she would leave someone, that is not the mark of a good person.
She was also very snooty, she looked down on places like Wildwood New Jersey, even though it was out of her price range. She couldn't afford the things she wanted without a man, so I don't really hold her in very high regard.
I have heard that Darryl Hannah really hated playing such a shallow, superficial person.
When the antique market went belly up, and people saw her magazine spread, she lost everything and had to settle down in a beachhouse in Wildwood New Jersey.
