Overall message
Do you think that there's a clear moral to WS? Does the film actually condemn capitalism/consumerism?

share"Stop going for the easy buck and start producing something with your life. Create, instead of living off the buying and selling of others."
shareYup, that's it. The closing words are a moralistic platitude straight from Unkie Oliver who can't make a movie's message subtle - not if you paid him.
Don't get me wrong, he's a decent filmmaker, but sometimes the messages of his films feel a bit like getting struck with a hammer.
HEY! CAPITALIST GREED IS BAD!
HEY! WAR IS BAD!
And so on.
Actually, telling someone to create is a very capitalistic message.
shareBud realised what Gekko was going to do with bluestar and 100s of jobs , I think he realised what they all were doing , "how much is enough"
