I just finished watching this movie and I have to say that Kevin's voice is atrocious. I couldn't take him seriously. The scene where he takes the hitman in the white suit out into the hall and is yelling at the police office "Do you understand me?" was so weak. I'm not saying he has to have a deep or raspy voice but geez it's like he never finished going through puberty.

Better than that of Bale in The Dark Knight.

Bale wasnt bad. He was disguising his voice per the lore.

It would have been interesting if the actors had watched a few dozen crime movies from the early 1930s to absorb the cadence and style of speech at that time, and the film makers had used early 1930s sound recording technology.
