man, how many deleted scenes???

Just watching on TBS and there's:

Larry and Beth spied on by Owen while he hides behind a tree;
Larry discovers Beth had a copy of "Hot Fire" in her house;
Lester rehearsing in a club;
Larry drops a Baby Ruth wrapper into the trash in slow-mo;
Owen constantly mentioning the time to a bowling alley worker;

Mostly good they lost these, not because we're not used to seeing them 20 years later, but they made the Larry character a little too dark. He's a sad-sack in a depression, but the cut scenes show him really being consumed by the whole book-stealing thing.

Well I saw the DVD today at the supermarket and
the only extras on the DVD are deleted scenes but
it doesn't say how many. I might still get it for
that though, no matter how bad they are, unless I
can find a better version with more extras.

man i got the $5 dvd from walmart (no complaints) but all the deleted scenes (4 of the ones listed above) are all shown on tv when they air on AMC. these scenes are shown as part of the movie and not deleted or hidden as the DVD shows them. what, did they decide to "steal" 4 scenes from the movie and place them as "deleted" scenes so the dvd can have "special features"? or is AMC just cool like that??
