Throw Momma From Another Train? BIG NEWS!

Danny DeVito is trying to convince Billy Crystal to join him for a sequel to the 80s comedy, Throw Momma From the Train – yep, despite the fact that Momma (the late Anne Ramsay) is no longer with us.

“I actually haunt Billy [Crystal] all the time. I always call him and say we should do a sequel. I called Billy at 7AM one morning. I must have woken him up and I was like, ‘I have this idea.’ He was like, ‘Are you done?’ He went back to sleep”, DeVito tells MTV.

De Vito says, “I love that picture. We should be doing [a sequel]. This year we’re doing a special DVD for it and then we’re going to try to get someone to play it in theaters for the anniversary, and then we’ll see.”

I'll be good with the dvd but sequel would be nice too.

I am not the Zodiac. And if I were, I certainly wouldn't tell you.

I haven't been able to even find any info on the 20th Anniversary Edition, anybody else got anything?

I just bought the film in the $5 bin and now I have to buy it all over again! Oh well, it'll be worth it to hear from the cast about the hilarious movie!

I wonder what Danny's idea for a sequel is? I just don't see whare he could go with it.

INT. - CRYSTAL HOME - NIGHT

*Phone rings, Billy answers*

Billy: "I'm buying a gun, Danny."

Danny : "Aw, come on, Billy! It'll be great!"

Billy: "Danny, I'm a man in his 60s on his 4th
hip, doing Broadway to make ends meet, and too
old for racous comedy! Do you understand me?"

Danny: "Oh. Sorry. (sad pause, then excitedly) Did you at least
like the script?!!!"

Billy: "NO!!!"

*click*

LATER

INT. - CRYSTAL HOME - DUSK

*phone rings, Billy answers*

Danny (OS): "Why didn't ya like it?"

why do a sequel??? the best character was Anne Ramsey. with her character gone and her passing. i can't think of anyone who would justify a sequel

Since Ramsay is gone, it should be "Throw Another Momma From the Train" . . . make it that Crystal's character's mom is still alive and is tormenting him.
