possible goof in the trivia section

"Owen (Danny DeVito) introduces Larry (Billy Crystal) to his mother as "Cousin Paulie." In The War of the Roses (also starring and directed by Danny Devito), Gavin (Devito) tells Oliver Rose that he used a certain bit of legal precedent for a case he was doing for his "Cousin Paulie... total loser."

i owned this movie on vhs and i swear owen says "cousin patty"...which never made any sense to me since larry is a dude, i just thought it was hiliarious. even when momma responds "you don't have a cousin patty"...i swear i hear patty, not paulie. btw, billy crystal's subtle grin when devito introduces him is priceless.

i suppose i could look for the script online but just wondered if i'm the only one that hears "patty" and not "paulie".

"He must've thought it was white boy day. It ain't white boy day, is it?"

You're not wrong, he does say Patty. Whoever submitted it probably just remembered it incorrectly.

I have a new philosophy. I'm only going to dread one day at a time.

I just watched the movie with subtitles, and the subtitles read the name as Paddy. I remember thinking it was an odd choice, because unless you were reading the subtitles, you would hear Patty because they sound the same in American English.

Doesn't anyone know that Paddy is an Irish, male name? Sheesh!!!

I don't love her.. She kicked me in the face!!
