Wow pretty underated
Does anyone else think this movie is extremely underated or is it just me?

shareIt was a bit corny at parts but was generally good. Its fun for light entertainment, but I think how its 'rated' is fine.
shareThis and War Of The Roses are criminally underrated here at the IMDB. What's up with that?
shareNo you're not alone. This is one of my favorite movies. There are people who have never even heard about this film......sadly. I love this movie, and it should be recognized as one of the greatest comedies out there.
shareI haven't see nthis movie in so long.
It's so funny.
In Belgium and trying to find it so my boyfriend can see it.
I love the quotes.
They aren't funny unless you've seen it, but once you have it's fun to yell 'Owen! Get me a Pepsi!!'.

Ya I think it is underrated here and there. The movie was very original and funny. I liked the dark humor and unique direction of Danny Devito and his homage to Strangers on A train as well. Billy Crystal is at his best in this movie in my opinion. The late 80s was areally cool time for movies of this type. I mean hybrid type movies that included old school direction mixed with new techniques, as well as the amalgamation of comendy, drama and horror. Other movies that have this type of mixture are The Burbs, Joe versus the Valcano, After Hours, War of the Roses
share*beep* all *beep*
shareI think maybe 7.3 would be fair, but definitely not 6,1
shareSure it's a parody of a classic film. Nonetheless this film should also be considered a classic in its own right. I'm not sure I've seen many comedies in the last decade plus that is as memorable as Throw Mamma... Enough said.
My body's a cage, it's been used and abused...and I...LIKE IT!!
