Was Margaret being rude to Owen?
During the scene when Owen goes up to Margaret and says something to her was Margaret being rude to Owen by brushing him off after he wanted to tell her something?

shareOwen was just being friendly and she kinda brushed him off, she's a bitch.
Y'know, I could eat a peach for hours
She probably thought he was interested in her and she wouldn't even give him the time of day for lack of interest. Her character was also a snotty hoe...
shareYes. Plain and simple. The b!tch needed to die.

I would have liked to see Margaret get her commuppance (spelling)

^^^^ Right on. I'm a supermarket cashier, and I have to greet every customer with a "hello" and I have had woman say "I have a boyfriend" right after saying hello even though I say it a thousand times a day to everybody.
I wish my brother George were here
lol. So because one has a boyfriend some girls think they can't be friendly? So childish.

Yeah she was being a bitch but that was kind of the point of that scene. It was to clarify that she was this bitchy, obnoxious woman that Larry deeply hated and resented. I mean It's hard to be able to totally sympathize with someone until you can definitively begin to see where they're coming from. And we see it in that moment that she's a rude, self absorbed individual.
shareYou EXPECT her to be nice with a man who is about to MURDER her?
shareOne problem with that comment: She didn't know that he was going to try to murder her. She, being the vain and arrogant bitca that she was, assumed that he was interested in her and that she was way out of his league.

He SURE had that LOOK in his eye...
shareI agree. Some people are just rude for no reason. The point of that scene was to stress the kind of person Margaret was: vain, snobby, stuck-up. Although, I agree with another poster here...maybe it was also the way Owen was looking at her, that made her suspicious.
shareShe was a tart and shallow.
shareYes, she acted all high and mighty after being on Oprah. She was a b**ch in this movie and went on to play an even badder b***ch in Orange is the New Black as "Red." Does anyone else think she looks exactly the same?
shareThe one thing what I wish Owen would've done was follow Margaret and ask her is it just him or are people not as nice and friendly towards one another anymore.
