Terrible
The first one upon review isn't great, but it was fun to watch in the 80's and early 90's. This one is not fun. Oh well, Jason Bateman made a career after this.
shareI know I enjoyed it as a kid. Probably haven't seen it in 20 years. But yeah, even if it's bad, it brought us Jason Bateman, so it's cool.
shareBateman did the best he could with the plot. It wasn't really his fault, Fox had no interest in returning for the basically the same plot, and since the studio did not sign him for a 'return' movie, they had to find somebody else. He wasn't bad to look at and could at least act. They could have picked somebody who was entirely unknown. He had been acting actually longer than Fox by the time he did this.
