Tip: Getting different actors to play the SAME character is a bad sign!

There's only one 'Stiles': Jerry Levine!

So true!! How could they even ATTEMPT to replace the original Stiles. The entire movie was a cheap rip of the first one, so why couldn't they just add a Stiles-like character instead of a cheap recasting. Nobody can surf a car like the REAL Stiles. Or react to D- papers in such a smooth manner.

Agree 100%! Stiles was original and smooth, not to mention hot and witty. The second Stiles was contrived. the acting didn't seem like acting, I found it kind of robotic as if he were reading the lines from cue cards in an obvious manner in the second one. Also Michael J fox had charm and wit going through all his changes from average to uber cool then back to average and uber cool as himself. But in TW2 Jason bateman's acting seemed also contrived. Ah all the actors in TW seemd contrived, it was just blah, like the parts that were supposed to funny were not, i got the impression that they were trying too hard. The original Stiles was the best, a true showman/classclown type. And the profewssor in TW 2 who was also a wolf, was she his aunt or something? They made no mention of this. This movie sucked so bad its crazy!

Absolutely!

Why on earth did they bring back the Stiles character with a different actor? ESPECIALLY since Stiles was supposed to be friends with the first Teen Wolf who wasn't the same as this one. If they didn't bring back the character of the first Teen Wolf, they had absolutely no reason to bring back Stiles if they couldn't get Jerry Levine to play him.

I just saw this movie for the first time last night while I was at a friend's house and it was on cable. Not that the first Teen Wolf was a particularly great film but at least it was fun. This movie is so incompetently made that it's unintentionally hilarious. The incoherent editing where the montages took up too much of the movie were just jaw-dropping.
