This movie is ridiculous

I whole-heartedly agree with those of you who have said this movie seriously falls short of even bad standards through its bad acting, directing, editing, etc. I also grew up watching both of these. However, I can't help but notice some striking inconsistancies in the plot.

The blonde and brunette in the movie obviously go to the same school as Todd. They also seem to have some sort of connection with the dean because the blonde was "forced" to dance with him at the party. Yet they're dating a rival school's star boxers? What sense does that make?

Also, if Todd had already decided before the fight that it would be his last, why didn't he just fight it as the wolf and get it over with?

The premise of cramming presumably a half-semester's worth of college-level biology in one night, and learning "some old boxing tricks" in a day, seems a little far-fetched. Not to mention taking the test and fighting on no sleep. They really try to make Todd look good during the last quarter of the movie.

And what was the "tricks no one's seen for 30 years" that his uncle taught him? And upper-cut fakeout? That's original.

Music selection was horrible.

And yet I can't stop watching whenever it comes on.

Ridiculous is not the word. Stupid is the word.

Well, it's both.

Q: How many ridiculous sequels are there?

A: I can name about 6 of'em... they are known as the Police Academy series. But they are still entertaining! Citizens on Patrol being my fave.

Teen Wolf Too is just like any other sequel. The same movie and story with a different setting and similiar characters. But I'm like you, whenever it's on I want to watch it! The one thing TW2 has over TW1 is a prettier love interest, Estee Chandler, who *beep* over Boof from the first film. Mike Fox is better than Bateman but the characters of Todd and Scott are different, Bateman is still good I think. John Astin is hilarious as the Dean I think it's his best comedic non Adams Family performance. And who can forget old James Hampton as Uncle Howard? The guy is so warm and wise he adds an Obi-Wan Kenobi (Guiness) feel to the series. I dunno why they didn't make a third one actually... well the second one probably bombed that's why. They could do a spin off called Teen Vamp? The Howards Werewolf family vs a Vampire family?

If you like the first film you can like the sequel for heavens sake. They are the same film it's just a matter of charisma and as I said before Fox is better but Bateman is still ok. Screw plot holes and bad acting, screw story integrity you can make all these digs at the plot but you always forget one thing... if werewolves did exsist and played sports on a public school campus it would be WORLD news event wouldn't it? The supernatural proven to exsist. It's just a movie ffs! It may be branded a piece of crap but if it truly was crap then why would we all tune in time after time to watch it again? Think about that.

Aoooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooow! (howl)

Leave the film alone.

Odisburg, what you say is very interesting. In fact, you are very interesting. John, I feel good!
You have raised some valid points and you do not seem to have a hidden agenda to undermine the film. I shall now go and watch Teen Wolf Too again. I will be sure to also (cue: Commmando theme).

some other things i noticed.

Gus is a 3-time state champ. What from high school?? thats like saying LSU is the state champ in football every year

There is no way the wolf could keep fighting in all those weight classes during the montage.

I enjoy this movie but i just like to point out these obvious sport screw ups.

it's just like in the first teen wolf...why woudl mick go to a different high school? his girlfriend goes to beacontown but he goes to another high school that he's been held back on? they should've had the bully go to the same school and they wind up fighting in the quad or some s--t i dont know...

another thing i dont like is:

ok-it's one thing to have a different actor play stiles, at least he sort of acted like stiles from the first one...but coach finstock all of a sudden morphs into a different personality....he goes from a smarmy, smart ass, jerk (but funny as hell) to a bumbling, quiet, clueless dope who can't seem to ever remember what he was going to say....oh yeah he also goes from coaching high school basketball to college boxing

reply

What about Chubby? He and Stiles went to highschool with Scott Howard right, now they're in college and buddies with his cousin who's a wolf and go through the same situations over again.

WTF?
